Blog 3: Hayao Miyazaki
Hi everyone! Today I'm going to talk about an artist that inspires me. It was hard for me to choose an artist because there are so many that inspire me and lately, many are from social media. So I had to think a little bit about which artist I was going to choose and I decided for Hayao Miyazaki. Hayao Miyazaki is a Japanese illustrator, animator, director, screenwriter and film producer. His career began in the 1970's as the director of a television series called "Conan: The Boy from the Future". His first film was "The Castle of Cagliostro" in 1979, but with his second film "Nausicaa Of The Valley Of The Wind" (1984) is when he began to deal with his main themes, such as the care of the environment, fantastic adventures and strong female main characters.
